Rear Blocks with Rough Country???

My Rough Country coil spacers FINALLY got here today, and it looks to me like there are rear lift blocks and U-bolts in the kit as well. They look like 1" blocks to me. I just ordered the regular $100 kit, and I was not aware that it came with blocks as well. Anybody have any info on this? I though it was just to lift the front-end.

Sounds like a bonus prize. I think they aren't necissary to achieve a level body. They could be installed if you load the bed down a lot and don't want the rear to sag, but I don't think it should be needed. Make sure they are steel blocks and not aluminum if you do decide to install. I've cracked aluminum ones before and it isn't exactly the safest thing.

They are definitely steel - they are really heavy. I opened up the box and saw the u-bolts and thought what the heck? I think I am going to have the spacers installed right now, I don't have a spring compressor otherwise I would do it. If for some reason the front is higher, I will put the blocks in the back. I cannot imagine the front would be higher - but who knows. I ordered my kit two weeks ago, and they just got here today because they were being made. I wonder if they changed something and I am the first one to get the "new" kit. Just thinking out loud...

That is strange, as I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere before. Maybe the store you bought it from added it in, and not Rough Country (DayStar.) I just ordered the SkyJacker kit (DayStar), I'll let you know if it has blocks too.

Hey Sammy where did you order the skyjacker kit from? And was it about the same price as the Daystar kit?

TruckAddons.com. They sold it for $133, but I got it and my fender flares from them and only paid $12.95 in shipping.
