CST 4x4 lift purchase

If interested in purchasing the new lift for the 4x4 Titan should I order from CST or a local dealer? Any recomendations. I'm located in the central valley, CA. (near Fresno). Also, thinking about installing myself. Does anyone know what is normal install costs by a shop and if I do it myself anything to consider first?

I am in Modesto, kind of near you - and he will ship cheap. I am getting my 2WD CST lift installed for about $600. PM with any other ???'s.

I had mine installed for $600. Eddie at Cloud9 gave me a great deal, and I'm really happy with it.

Mine was installed at socalsupertrucks. You might want to give them a call. They have a lifted Titan for the shop; and have lifted quite a few. Moreover, Joe is the person with whom I worked. He is both knowledgeable and friendly.
If anything, they'll give you install tips.

Rememeber that you need new rims and tires ... the stock rims won't work.
Also, I'd go with the Deaver Leaf springs instead of the blocks.

what's the advantage of the leaf springs vs. the blocks? Seems like the ride wouldn't be affected much at all when you add the blocks. Factory ride is pretty nice.

According to theguys at CST when I called, they cannot sell to us, you must buy from a shop. Also, the self install is possible and fairly straight forward ... assuming you have a welder and know how to use it

There is some welding involved. I will be posting pics of my install later this week. I opted to have a local shop install mine ... cost was $450 (1/2 off because they REALLY want to put stickers on my truck

)

deaver springs are oh so nice. Got some on my tacoma and it's night and day compared to stock! Stock ride is pretty good, but the deavers just handle better.

Blocks have been known to brake, so you should look into another means of rear lift. either new leaf packs or shackles are my recommendation.
