Daystar, Skyjacker, Rough Country Spacer Install Instructions
My Skyjacker 2.5" coil spacers came today, sans instructions. A quick call to Skyjacker and they emailed me the Acrobat (pdf) version of the document. I have attached the file in case anyone else didn't get it as well, or just wants to see what is involved.
Well hopefully I won't experience that, but if so, the Rancho coil overs are on the way. Other shock makers should be coming out with items for the Titan as well, maybe something with an extended length.
Yea im kinda waiting myself. My buddy has the identical truck i have and we both bottom out on his road, sharp drop-off to an incline. Good luck, thanks for the instructions.

is this only with the 4x2's?
i have an XE, OR, 4x4. Think I'll have that problem once the spacers are installed?
I think the majority of problems experienced with the coil spacers have been with OR equipped Titans. Personally I wouldn't install any sort of front end lift on a 4WD without a diff drop as well, the 1" spacer might be an exception. I've seen too many problems with excessive CV angles to know not to try it on my own truck.... well actually I did and learned from it. My old chevy shreaded it's left inner boot from over torqued torsion bars, which is partly due to the overly rigid rubber used by GM for their CV boots.
thanks for the answer. i cant help but lol at your experience....i had the SAME lesson on the same make vehicle. thought i was the only one who fell into the over cranked t-bar/over angled CV trap!
so basicly, i'm hosed unless i get a full lift of some sort huh? bummer, i just wanted to level out.
btw, i know you've heard it a 1000 times but i cant help admire the work you've done on your truck. agressive looking going down the road yet VERY tastefull. well done!
And thank you for the compliments. Well I don't want to say that you will definately have problems by going with spacers or lift springs, but I personally wouldn't do it to a 4wd truck, speaking from past observations and personal experience. The CV's that most IFS trucks are equipped with usually only perform well when parallel to the road surface, if that makes sense. Excessive angles will eat up boots, but that's minor compaired to destroying the actually joint. I've also experienced the clicking you get while turning a truck with CV's at high angles. Eventually it will ruin the joints. Maybe some company will come out with a simple diff drop for small lifts, like the ones available for Tundras and Tacomas.
