What i have is 1.5" leveling kit that I bought from eBay, on top of 5100s on the middle perch...

Eddy, sounds like they sent you a 2" or 2.5" for the amount of lift and CBC you got.

I ran it for a while. The ride stiffened up some and it was hard to keep it aligned, as well as cbc. Dropped to a 1.5" and haven't had any problems.

No that's right then 1.5" spacer and bilsteins on middle perch should equal about 2.5" of total lift.

Yeah you will be ok, I did grind the lip down just a bit on mine just to be sure. I have not had any issues since install, over 10k miles. You will be running exactly what I am on mine (assuming you did the RC's)

How hard is it installing the ucas? I was Gona take it to a shop but it's like $240-$300

If you can install a leveling kit, you can do uca's. The driver side is somewhat difficult because of the break lines.

It took me about 9 hours to do everything - struts, UCA's, spacers, rear shocks and blocks. I would guess about 3-4 hours just for the UCA's. Really it is just unhooking the spindel from the UCA, then removing the 2 bolts on each UCA, then replacing them, it is a tight fit in there and those mothers are on very tight. But once you do it, you will know alot more about your truck, and a couple $$ richer.

I guess I've had my front end apart too many times. I can have both front shocks out in under 30 min. I'll time myself when my PRG arms come in lol. And yes, the bashing may commence since I didn't get DK; Called Greg an he gave me a great price on the uca's and hemmed steering.

I need to get better tools too, my craftsman ratchets are old and this last week when I put the spacers it would just spin and not lock...I got DK because temhey were faster at getting here, order then Friday, and should be here today...

OK This thread is about leveling So i will ask here. I have an '08 LE 2WD LWB I want to level. I have a body kit so I need to go down in the rear instead of up in the front. I assume I just need 2" drop shackles in the rear but the only ones I can find are on Ebay and they are no name brand. I dont like putting cheap parts on especially anything safty related. Does anyone know where I can get quality drop shackles or know a better way to level it in the rear. I tow my wifes car to shows (where we enter them both) so I dont want to weaken the rear..
