Clear coat on C/O and Bypass?

Has anyone one ever heard of someone doing this? I live in snowy wyoming and my radflos (along with everything else) have surface rust all over. I know i could constantly spray with wd40 but thats just a hassle and a temporary fix to a permanent problem. Let me know what you guys think.

On the shaft or the body?

I lube my shaft when ever I can.

Also use wax on the body when ever I have the shocks off 1 of the trucks

Haha just on the body. Im sure wax would work, but a clear coat seems more permanent.

Re: Clear coat on C/O and Bypass?

Well if your running single rate, no problem, dual rates would scratch off the clear with the floater.

I have single rates now but ordered dual rates to run with shock hoops from greg. Well at least is would work on the bypasses
