PRG Uca or RC uca

Looking to get Uca and was just wondering if PRG are worth paying $400 more than the RC Uca. I've spent good money with PRG and never had a problem with anything from him. always good business. Was just curious about the two Uca

I have the RC ucas and I can say they are great for my needs. No issues with them so far. But I will be getting prgs soon, the clearance is the main thing I like. I would just go with prg and skip the middle man.

Re: PRG Uca or RC uca

Go with Dirt Kings UCAs. PRGs products are wonderful, but Dirt King seems to be a lot better in the customer service aspect and his products looks like just as good if not better quality. And a little cheaper I think.

Re: PRG Uca or RC uca

My vote would be PRG no question. I like Dirt King's UCA but they look exactly like the old style PRG UCAs that I had on my 04 T. I have the newer version PRG UCAs now and they are designed slightly different and they do provide a little more clearance than the old style. Tried to put pics in here of both but didn't work out. Attached is the new version PRG. The difference in the two is where the arms come together at the ball joint. The new PRG arms almost touch whereas the old PRG and the Dirt King arms do not and attach more on the sides of the ball joint. Just my two cents. Nothing wrong with the RCs from what I hear either but the DK or PRG ones do provide more clearance.

Re: PRG Uca or RC uca

I would go with MetalWorx or DK. I am a little partial to MetalWorx because I have them and they kick @ss, but both are great products and provide a lot of clearance. I have had mine for a about 6 months with no problem and the clearance is great and they are really Beefy. Also can't beat either one of DK or Metalworx for customer service. I think Metalworx are 600 shipped. Also Metalworx allows you to choose the color of powdercoating on your UCAS.

Suspension:Modified CST LT kit by Metalworxlv.com, 2.5x8 King Coilovers,King Smothies on the rear, MW Front engine cage and rear bed cage, Deaver C10 rear spring pack,Fox 2.0 Bumpstops all the way around and Dirt King Fab Long Travel Shackles. Bumped and strapped at 14" right now.

Performance:Coolant bypass mod, Throttle body spacer, Reaper IAT, Throttle body screen delete,Axle vent mod,CSF Aluminum Radiator (After replacing two stock Radiators they should give you an aluminum one free, lol) Cool flex radiator hose,Uprev tuned by Seymore, JBA LT Headers, 2.5" Cajun B pipes,Flowmaster Y-pipe 2.5in to 3in Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator to a 3" Dynomax Bullet dumped before the axle with resi tip, and AEM Brute Force Cold Air intake.
