CST lift continued....

I'm jonesing heavly for the CST lift. I have the leveling kit,
Nittos and 20's on my 4x4 and it looks great... but it's not enough for a sick, compulsive f*&k like myself. And now you guys tell me the ride is as good as stock... damn you all!

The CST kit uses all the stock components, and the ride should be just like stock. They have an adaptor to use a 2.5 coil-over in front, which would only make the ride better. The rear you can use just about any shock you want to get the ride you want. Its a nice kit.

The lift is great, and the ride is great.

I posted picks of my lift a while back

http://www.titantalk.com/forums/show...ero%27s+lifted

My only recommendation is that you go w/ the deaver 4" leaf springs instead of the blocks. I'm switching to the leafs as soon as I can get a good price on them.

Max, I called Deaver

I spoke w/ the Deaver guys on the phone this week (they're located in OC).

They wanted $675 and an additional $175 for install. That seemed really steep to me ... I think that deaver's for a toyota are about $500.

I put in a call to eddie at cloud9. he got me a deal on the lift, so maybe he can work a deal through deaver or cst.

i intend to put some bilstein 5150's on too.. and those are $90 a piece
link to price:

http://www.shockwarehouse.com/cgi-bi.../bst_5150.html

I want to keep the price under $675 total.
If you're willing to pay $500 for a spring pack, maybe we can work a 2 to $1000 deal.

I too am getting rid of the blocks ASAP !!! I got the same price on the Deavers direct from Deaver ... BUT, if you order the kit with the Deavers from the get go, they are only $400. So, my off-road shop is ordering a kit for another truck with Deavers !!! I get the Deavers, they get my blocks ... it's a win win situation

I had BF Goodridge T/A 37 12.5 R20's mounted up yesterday. Looks outstanding with my 20" Helos. I'll post pic's after work today. Since I had already trimmed for the 33" Nittos, the 37's fit perfectly. The Nittos are now for sale.

I actually, for now, have decided against the Deavers until the next "version" comes out. The Deavers currently available are softer than the stock springs ... thus, towing is reduced and payload is as well. A new version is supposed to be following with the same payload capasity and load rating.

BUT ... I may not be around for that

A hint at my next project ...

My CST lift (with all 1000 miles on it) may be available for sale VERY soon !!!

The big hint ... my truck is being measured currently and will have new front and rear axles made shortly (Dana 60's) ... Why ? you may ask ... well ... stay tuned for the first ever ...

STRAIGHT FRONT AXLE CONVERSION !!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of the fab has already been planned and mocked up ... just trying to figure the steering out right now.

DO IT! GO SFA! I wish i would have saved up instead of spacing things on out my truck and would have a SFA on it by now running 42s but u know how that goes...in a hurry as usual...Quick question...what gears are u guys running to turn your tires? Stock? What is the ratio again on a stock titan?

As we used to say back in my college days, that warranty is 't*ts-up!'
