New Intrax Nissan Titan Lowering Springs

Has anyone drop their truck with Intrax lowering springs? This springs cost lower then streetbeat lowering kit. I'm wondering if this springs are good or what. I called the company and talked to the salesman and he has not much info on this springs. Thanks. Web Info: http://www.drivewire.com/index.html

I was thinking about buying these springs, but they only drop the rear by 2 inches and not 4 (like the street beat). I think I'm gonna wait for another company to make some (hopefully eibach). I never heard of streetbeat, so I don't want to take my chances with them.

i remember that brand several years ago. on the impala mess boards a few people had them and liked them. they had a very aggressive drop but no problems.

if it's 2 inches in the rear, it'll be a reverse PRG leveling kit. Just depends on what the buyer is looking for.

http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/ does not make the drop kit the front coils are one company the rear leafs are another and it is all put together as a kit by street beat

Cool The technical details

The one thing that I've noticed is that the Intrax is a progressive rate spring. This means the first bit of compression will be soft, and stiffen the further it's compressed. I can't forsee this making for less body roll. Also, the intrax website doesn't mention anything about leaf springs in the rear. And their picture shows four coils....??? Anybody else see a problem there?

I just spoke with the Street Beat Customs rep and he stated that their kit has constant rate springs that are a bit higher rate than stock for more aggressive handling. He also recomended the air lift for the rear (about $100 extra) to maintain the tow ability since there will be very limited clearance when the 2/4 drop is complete. The rep also said that the install can be done by me, and then have a shop do the allignment. This is a pricey way to go, but I've got to get multible motorcycles in the back, and that's not happening with the gate at my waist.

I'll try to call the Intrax folks on Monday 6/20 and see what they have to say...

The other thought I had was to airbag the rear to drop it for loading and then raise it back to stock for ride. It sounds like a lot of custom work though.... Any ideas?
