Rear Springs

I have had a squeaking from rear suspension for about two months. Took to dealer...of course they could not replicate. Drove a tech around for 30 minutes and the stupid thing would squeak. Left ot go home and it started back. Wnet back to dealer and jumped up and down in bed while the tech was in truck trying to isolate. We finally found that the right rear spring was rubbing on the tiny alignment plate that prevents horizontal shifting of the leaves (leafs?) They want to replace the whole spring but seems overkill to me. Anyone else had same problem???

See post #7 in this thread. It specifically addresses your issue.

We can fix the rattles!

I just keep lubing the passenger side. I'm not sure why just the passenger side?

Lightbulb

Mine just started, notice it last night, will check on it today. I do know that I can stand on the bumper and then get off and it will make the noise plain as day!

There are two threads going on this at the same time might be a good one to merge.( squeaky suspension and rear springs)
