What Lift & Traction increase?

I'm looking towards the PRG Mini Lift Kit 2WD w/ 1.5" blocks. I don't plan on upgrading the shocks and was wondering if the factory shocks would hold up riding on this? Or should I go with the 1.0" block or even just the leveling kit, no lift.

Also I was wondering what effect if any lifting or leveling would have on the traction of the back tires. I would hate to loose any traction.

leveling the truck should shift a little bit of the truck's weight to the rear, other than that it would have no effect on traction.

I'm worried if I put on the 1.5" Mini Lift I will ruin my rear shocks.

You should put longer shocks on, but you could leave the stock junk on until you blow them.

The 1" kit is fine with the factory shocks. An upgraded shock may be required with the 1.5" kit. Installs easily with simple hand tools.

That is a direct quote from Greg's website, so in my opinion, I would not use the 1.5" unless you plan on installing the Bilstein shocks as well.
