Axle wrap feels like the rear end of your truck is standing up when accelerating hard...then it will go back down....it has nothing to do with vibration...that is coming from your driveline.

I don't know what your carrier bearings look like, but on SD's its a simple shim kit with shims that are different thicknesses that you stack to get the correct angle.

Can someone post a pic of the Nissan Carrier bearing and this kit you have?

here are some sorry if you can't see to well, crawling under there in the dark and taking them didn't turn out so well.

I see what you are talking about now. I was hoping it would be easier than that. Yeah...your going to need to grind that sucker off. Let us know how it turns out

byrdman,

What do you mean by popping and slipping? Take off shudder/vibration? Are your U-bolts / eye bolts / shackles torqued to spec?

BUT THEN AGAIN i DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TO FLOOR IT WITH ONLY ONE BOLT THROUGH THE CARRIER BEARING ITSELF. MY BRACKET WILL BE IN TOMMOROW AND i AM GOING TO REASSEMBLE AND WILL LET YALL KNOW

Just finished reinstalling the bearing bracket....the kit eliminated all the racket in the rear end !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Floored the truck on a turn and spun the tires instead of hearing all that racket....awesome $35.00 part solved the problem

Sweet!!! I am definately going to get this. I'm probably gonna have to get it installed though. Hey eptitan, are you having a shop install it? and if so what are they charging you?

Eptitan...definetly money well spent. Like everything else it wasn't as simple as the instruction show. First of all the aluminum slugs don't fit the bracket like they are shown. We had to grind a bit off just to get them to fit. The templates don't line up worth a ****, and of course trying to cut out the center support frame from the truck with the bearing still in the way can amount to cutting the tab off the bearing bracket. But again what a wonderful kit. I can spin the rear tires upon take off with no noise from the rear end..

Can't the bearing bracket be taken off the brace bafore you cut it off? It is only held on by 2 nuts correct?
