cst 6" lift kit vs. rancho 4" lift kit.

I am going to lift my truck within the next few weeks and was needing some help in deciding which lift to go with. any pros or cons on either? which would you prefer? your help is greatly appreciated. thanks. also, any suggestions on wheel size for either lift? thanks.

CST for me!

I like the CST. The 7" 4x4 kit is about 1" higher than the Rancho kit, and the quality is very nice. Just installed mine a couple weeks ago (PRG did actually), and I love it. Let me know if you want more detials about the kit. I've got pictures of the install.

I haven't got wheels and tires for it yet, so I can't comment on fitment. I'll be waiting for others to post their results here too.

RPM,
Your truck look very nice. I am planning to have Greg work on my 6" lift in 2 weeks. How does your truck ride with stock wheels? Are they too small for 6" lift? Do you get any "rubbing" on the the tires after the lift?
I have 04 SE 4x2 wheels. I plan to use them after the lift until they worn out then replace with bigger tires and rims.

Did you have to drive to Greg's place and leave your truck there?

With a 7" lift I would choose some 17x9" wheels and 325x70r17(35x13) Toyo AT.

After looking at all of them I am going to get the Pro Comp 6 inch with coilovers. Seemed to be the best to me.

"Almost" everyone here that has the pro comp coilovers has complained about the coilovers bottoming out or not working correctly and changed to the oem coilovers. Do a search on pro comp lifts, people are getting the stage 1.
