Pro Comp or PRG???

Ok, should i go with a 6" pro comp lift or a 2.5 " prg kit? i have a kc 2wd , i dont have a garage so thats not an issue i do some moderate offroading getting to spots to ride atv. ive read threads and seen some pics (but not enough). but i cant make up my mind, so im trying to get some other opinions. if anyone has a pic of a canteen xe with either lift that would help. If i went 6" ill need bigger tires of course which means lower mpg. now here is part of my dillema, i already have the pro comp kit new in box. so if i dont use it i will sell it on this board most likeley and i would be open to trade for parts including prg kits.

thanks for the input.

mmm... I would think that you should be fine with the PRG kit. As little RTI as you wil probably need, the PRG kit should be fine. If you will be going through deep ruts and need the extra wheel travel, then fo with the 6" and buy new wheels/tires.

Also PRG is developing some new upper arms to allow for more droop on the front end with a higher than 2.5" front kit.

I seriously doubt the Pro Comp lift affords extra wheel travel. Its greatest benefit will be the ability to run larger tires. But this isn't as much of a big deal with our trucks compared to the Fords and Chevys because the stock Titan already runs 33's, so they really won't be that much taller.

If your will be loading and unloading your quad frequently you may want to stick with the PRG lift. Then when the DR coilovers and PRG's control arms are released pick up a set and bolt them on.
