I spoke to ProComp and the problem wasn't with the coil overs but with the original Titan they designed it for. I believe it was a measurement of the coilovers into the a arm. There has to be an adjustment to the A arm based on a measurement that should be taken before installation.

Sounds fishy to me, i have a set of pre-production Titan a-arms and they are the same as the production ones (i have a preproduction Titan that im picking up next week, ill check that too). Pro comp is known for having issues with thier "race" quality shocks. There will be a few major shocks manufacturers with product out in short while, it may be worth holding out just a bit longer.
so this problem affects all coilovers? i'm getting the stage 2 at cost(1250). sin city iron is liftiing it for me, so i can go to the north cali meet and represent and pass out some stuff. but i don't want to have problems driving all the way there from vegas.
what is the problem exactly? is an unbearable clunking? is it only offroading or street driving as well.
thanks for reply. need to gather info so if i have to cancel this order or not. i said yes cuz price was to hard to beat.

DaFridge/PRG,
I have had the Stage II ProComp lift for over a month now and the only time I have experinced any type of clunk or thud is when the front tire drops to the fully extended position while off-roading! I don't doubt that there are better quality Coil overs out there and I will get them when the time is right, but unless your actively racing the Baja 1000 you can probably live with the porcomp's. In my case I ended up getting the coilovers for the same price as the Stage One so I went for it. The issue I have had is what I assume to be Axel wrap, when i take off fast it feels like I loose traction. I would be interested in a solution to fix this problem, i.e traction bars or helper springs (that work). I am by no means an expert on suspensions but, would like to learn more, so next time I'm in PRG's area I'll buy him a beer if he'll give me a suspension 101 class!
Cheers!
Elzie

Carrier bearing relocation kit from Procomp should take care of that problem for you.
Anything new on the coilovers from Pro Comp stage #2? A friend of mine knows and races with someone from Pro Comp and can get me a very nice discount on stage #1 or #2...
I can probably get the stage #2 for a little bit more than some new coilovers from other manufacturers, but 6" of lift might be too much, 3" in front sounds much better for me.

Elzillery, you'll need to get PRG's Deaver springpack upgrade to help alleviate the axel wrap. then for last resort and to aid in completely eliminating it get the traction bars but the PRG Deaver springpack with the Bilsteins will make a difference!!
