Havn't had any major problems with the Tire Pressure Monitors, other than the light will come on about 45mins-1hr into a trip. Other than that it's been fine.

Nice truck Tyltan.

The steps are good for steps, I wouldn't count on them protecting the body. It appears to me that the stock Nissan steps mount the same as these do. The N-Fabs mount in 2 places. Underneath the truck there are 2 studs(per side) coming off the body, and a 2 threaded inserts(per side) in the body. Simply use provided hardware(mine must have been lost in shipment) to mount the steps. I am 6'7" 280#, and they hold me well. I read the article about the NoFear Titan which also uses these steps, and it said they are rated for 450#. Being that they are mounted to the body, I don't think they would hold up too well rockcrawling. Overpriced:YES!!! Definately. They do look great, and are different from everyone else's though, and thats what its really all about, right??
I would check into the ones that are listed in 4Wheel Parts ad in all the mags.

54warrior - i LOVE the look of your truck. the n-fabs look the best although overpriced. i may get a group buy together when i am ready to buy them. the procomp is my choice of the lifts because of no-cut installation. your truck looks very proportionate. it doesn't look too high and the tires really set it off.

how does the lifted ride feel to you? the titan is my first truck. after reading and researching, i really want to lift my truck but don't want the ride to be detrimental. do you think the ride would benefit from the stage II (addition of coilovers)?

TOTAL= $3210 give or take

The steps were super easy to install, took about 20 mins.
Got a super deal on the wheels and tires from Heberling and Beck in Latrobe, PA.

If you notice the bottom rocker area on the bed is pretty chipped up, any suggestions on fixing that? Thought about some black or grey vinyl on the bottom similar to a Ford FX4. Also, on the front, where the stock mudflaps were, the paint is kinda rubbed, any suggestions for that?

Your truck does look good. Put some black diamond plate over the rocker or have some Rhino or Line-X sprayed on. That would help with rock chips.

I have the same set up as 54warrior. The ride is better than stock. The only MAJOR DRAWBACK is turn radius. It will be very bad if you lift your truck. Other than that, everything is awesome.

how bad will the turning radius be? will i have a problem parallel parking and making normal 90 degree turns at intersections?

I couldn't describe it with a number. Hopefully, any member here can describe to you better. I am thinking about 40% worst. A bit more or less. I couldn't do any U turn at any intersection.

I just purchased NFab steps from 4wheelpart for 379 about 3 weeks ago. I would ask if they have any kind of discounts going. I got 10% and then a week later they had free shipping after that 15%. Original price was about 486 If I remember correctly.

the ride is just as good as stock, very comfortable at 70+mph also. as far as the turn radius goes. at first mine was terrible. i finally got around to having a professional shop line it up about 3 mos..., 2000 miles later, and it was a night and day difference, i don't know what they did but it was considerably better. my turn radius i would estimate is only about 10% worse than before, not any more. i never ever parallel park, so can't give any feedback there, but pulling into nearly any parking space is still easy, if you don't mind backing up once every so often.
intersections are also not a problem

thanks for all the positive comments. i too like the look of it, although it could be higher, some people don't even realize its lifted. and i hate getting the old "does that big thing only have a v-6?" DUH?!?!?!

i looked into the apewraps @ apewraps.com, but they are like $700!!! no thanks, a guy donw the street says he can do vinyl similar to a ford fx4 for around $100, with a layer of black then a layer of grey below and then clear overtop

I will ask the shop that do my lift to see what they can do. How do I go about to tell them that the turning radius is bad. They already assume that all the lift has bad turn radius. I wish you know what your shop did so at least I can tell my shop to do it.

Yes, that decrease in turning radius is one of the major drawbacks and I also would like to know how it was fixed...
