I'm thinking about using some of my Christmas money to buy a set of Bushwacker flares, get the windows tinted, and either paint or get some vinyl on the bottom to protect the rockers. I also might get my wheels powdercoated black. Here is a what I was able to creat in Paint Shop Pro of what it might look like?
What are your thoughts???

That looks tough man. My vote goes to the last pic with everything blacked out. Try painting the door handles to match the body and remove the emblems. It will help the body lines flow better and help everything blend together.

Both ways look really nice, but I would go the black-out route...that means turning those MTs around also! When I see raised white letters out I think of the 1970's...
Unlike Yellomantis, I like the door handles and emblems black.
Or should I keep the polished wheels to compliment the door handles/badges, mirrors???
I like this one.

and ptgarcia, I flipped the tires, now I won't have to worry about catching my bell bottoms on the nerf steps. HAHAHA
What am I going to be left with if I remove the badges?? A bunch of 3M double sided sticky mess? Kind of like what is left from removing the mudflaps? That Sh*t don't come off.
I made the mistake (prior to lifting the truck) of sealing the edges around the flaps with clear silicone, to prevent dirt/small rocks from getting in behind there and scratching the paint. That worked great at the time, but there is still some left on the front down near the bottom of the rocker that absolutely won't come off. That is one of the reasons I haven't removed the rear flaps yet. Any ideas on how to get it off without trashing the paint?

Now that looks b*tch!n..... I'm in the process of getting rid of the chrome on my truck here, but I will be painting the door handles and tailgate shield to match the paint along with stripping the badges all around.
The double stick tape isn't really too hard to get off. Just need a good soaking with "goo gone" and it will just wipe off. Body shops can strip the tape for you too. I'm most likely going to have them do it for me when I get everything painted.

Demon, nice pics man. And what a nice truck. It looks realy sweet. Love the hood. Your paint guy did a fabulous job.
What are you using for headlight bulbs?
How do you like the STT's??? I wanted those when I got my tires, but they weren't available in a 35x12.50-17 at that time. I can get them from a local shop for around 210 a piece. Have always been a cooper fan, had S/T's on my ZR2 and got around 45k on them. They were great tires. These Procomps have about 12k and are half worn. Won't be getting them again. The next set will def. be cooper's, just not sure wether to get the S/T's or STT's. (Had to come back in here and edit this one---> I see your wheels/tires are For Sale, too bad your in Cali, and I'm near Philly!!!)
Like the muddin' pics too.

The blue bulb is a ultra white made by matrix. I used them on my civic and bought a set of highbeams for the truck. I like the STT's the first set lasted 25k-30k and I could have kept going. I decided to change them out and keep the best tire for a spare I do all fwy driving so they will definately last a while with less fwy driving. I wish I could get them at 210ea I paid 260ea. I actually just checked on shipping. I will pm you if needed just so this thread stays on track it is all about your truck. I am also thinking about de-badging but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Hey ? would those rims/tires work with a stock titan or with a Titan with the 2.5" PRG leveling kit? I'm thinking of getting the leveling kit and some new "shoes".
thx
