Thank You for what has got to be printed and sold as a great how to realistic way to do the lift.
I was going page by page like I didn't know the outcome....and it was a page turner.
Excellent work. Thanks for the sacrifice in time spent documenting rather than just installing.
That was excellent !!

Hopefully it helps a few people in deciding to tacke their own install. Total time for the install was about 12 hours - 9 on the front and about 2 1/2 on the back.
Also, I have fairly extensive nerve damage in my right shoulder. So, I have two arms... but really only 1 1/4 useful arms. Makes car work take a bit longer for me than it used to.
Great job Austin! That is really "Mean" looking. Well worth your many hours of hard work. Great pics too!

Throw on some big meats, and they will top off that lift perfectly.
How is the ride / handling? I assume that around corners the vehicle is a bit more tipsy....?
Handling with those Fox coilovers is an absolute dream. They are worth every penny (and more). I did some 60mph dirt roads, and they do exactly what a good suspension should do - soak up all the bumps and keep your tires planted on the ground, so you maintain steering/brake control. With the OEM suspension I would've bounced right off the road at 60.
As far as cornering - yes, the center of gravity is raised, so it probably would be a bit more tipsy. I don't drive my truck that fast, though - I have little sporty fast cars to go fast and turn quickly.
I'll probably keep the 33's until they wear a bit more... then I'll throw on a set of Glassworks Unlimited fenders and step up to 37's on some 17x9 wheels.
Dude, that was definately impressive. Looks like a great adventure, and a chance to call some buddies over for some past-due favors (and lots of beer drinking).
I didn't realize how much cutting was required to fit this thing on. I take it there's no chance at going back to stock???
