Looks good!!!!

TCW, it looks like you still have some rake. Can you let us know how much? I ask because I'm about to have the same setup installed by Greg (PRG) as soon as the Coilovers show up and want to maintain some rake. I don't much care for a leveled or saggy truck.

What size block do you have in the rear? I currently have a 2" with the Bilsteins, and Greg thinks that will be fine to maintain a little rake, maybe 1.5" or so, which is what I want.

In any event, your truck looks GREAT!!! Enjoy!!!!

Regards,

John

I think that if you use the deaver springs from PRG you will gain about 1.5" and wil lget some rake back

John, I have 2" blocks in the rear with the Bilstein shocks and the Deaver leaf spring upgrade. I'm currently at about a 3 1/2" lift in the rear.

My front is about a 5" lift which sits about an inch lower than the rear giving the truck a slight rake.

I've been told that the rear may settle a little because of adding the Deavers. The great thing about the Fox coil-overs is that they are adjustable. My goal is to have the rear about 1/2" higher than front. Either way, I can adjust the Fox's in the front to get whatever look I want.

Jeff

Well it sure is an improvement.... i was talking to greg about my popping noise and the end links seemed like the obviuos place to start,,,,

and that was it,,,,

So how do you like the ride now,,,,,,, ?????

ttyl
Harvey

P.s.... make sure they are very carfull... the stock end links have plastic liners in the socket,,,,(to much heat and is melts) keep cooling them as you weld ,,, you can pop the boots loose from the body of the end link,, it is a press on type,,,re grease re press the boot back on and away you go,,,

The ride is much better. Bumps aren't as harsh as they used to be.

The front end seems to nose dive a little in the turns similar to the original stock suspension. It stopped doing this when I originally had the PRG leveling kit installed. Now the slight nose dive is back, but it may be do to the fact that the truck has more of a rake stance than with the leveling kit. I need to put some more miles on the truck and see if the rear end settles a little because of the Deavers. At that time, I will adjust the Fox's to make it more level.

One other thing I noticed since the lift and new suspension were installed is when I'm braking there is a very slight groaning/vibration right before the truck comes to a complete stop. It didn't do this before and I was just curious if you had experienced something similar or if you knew what it might be.

Thanks again for your help...

I understand what you mean about the nose dive,,, but it is just somthing i am getting used to,.,,,,, i had to do a full on panic stop a week or so ago from 70... full abs activation and the truck nosed down but i think the valving in the shocks reacted and it did not dive to far,,, very controlable ...but as they work in (1500 miles ) so far,, i love the ride,,,,

and i do not have any brake groaning,,,,just a very slight vibration under light accelleration,,,,( working on that )
