I'm desperatly straining to look at those traction bars, oh how I yearn to view what I can only visualize as a wonderful modification......but I just can't look away from the jiggle.

Re: ProComp Traction bars

I agree they look great....oh, and the bars do too!
If you don't mind my asking:
Where did you get them?
How much?
Was drilling required or were they strictly bolt-on?
Thanks,
MarkB

Re: ProComp Traction bars

The pc bars are bolt-on, you drill through the frame and use self tapping screws. Keep an eye on them if you off road at all as they WILL tear out of the frame (mostly due to the lake of articualtion by using a urethane bushing at each end). Then you can weld them on.

Re: ProComp Traction bars

So why can't you just weld them on from the getgo?

I suppose there is not reason you can't, it's just not what the directions call for. And I will!
