PRG does it again! Thx Greg!

Well after waiting way too long to level my truck, I finally did it and had the man himself do the install in record time! Thank you Greg for leveling out my truck and looking forward to working with you again on projects of all scales! My truck rides better than stock now, I'm amazed at the difference.

Now...time for wheels and tires!

Re: PRG does it again! Thx Greg!

My bro bought a Titan King Cab on Monday, and for Christmas I want to get him a leveling kit. I'm thinking the Pro-Comp one from 4wheelparts. Can you help me w/the install Greg? I'm in Arcadia, CA. How much will that run me if you can help out?

Trojan Dan, sorry, i usally dont install parts I dont sell. I understand the P/C kit is inexpensive, but the amount I would charge for the extra labor involved (its the same as the daystar kit and requires you to break down the strut and use a heavy duty spring compressor) you would be in more money than just getting a billit kit.

How much do you charge to install your kit? Your kit is about $198 right?

Re: PRG does it again! Thx Greg!

I believe those Pro Comp poly spacers are actually Day Star spacers, just as the CST, Rough County, and SkyJacker ones are as well. You might want to reconsider installing those on your truck. Do a search here for "Day Star" and you'll know why.

Re: PRG does it again! Thx Greg!

I normally don't help out Trojan fan but trust me. Listen to Greg. He know EXACTLY what going on. He did lots of work on my truck and I am very happy with it. Put it this way. I don't take my truck to the car wash. I always wash it myself.

Greg will help me next week to give my truck another 2"-3" lift; in addition, with the 6" I already had on the truck.

Go Bruins....

Go with Greg's leveling kit all the way. Don't bother with the Daystar-type level kit, you'll regret it. Do a search on those things and you'll find a few people unhappy with that setup.

Why does a leveling kit make it ride better.

It doesn't IMO, and I don't see how it can. It rides exactly the same as before.

The only thing that helps the ride would be that the better bumpstops help prevent bottoming.
