I just installed a PRG mini-lift on my 05 Titan 4wd. The install was very easy, and I love the look of the truck with the lift, but I am having a small problem. The steering seems to be very sensitive to any ruts in the road. Even very minor depressions, or the crown near the center of a road. If there is a crown, I have to force the truck to change lanes, then when the first wheel is over the crown, it immediately darts for the other lane. The truck was aligned by a very good shop that I have used for years. I may not be explaining it very well, but the truck is not very stable and requires constant attention to stay in the center of the lane. This makes it dangerous on icy or snow covered roads, or dangerous when towing. I am open to any suggestions. If I can't fix it, I will have to take the lift off. Thanks in advance for your help.
Like everyone else said, its an alignment problem, not lift problem. Take it back to your alignment guy and tell him what its doing. If he any good he'll be able to fix it.
AK, did your alignment shop adjust the camber? i know for a fact when i had the PRG spacers the camber became positive, so in essence the wheels/tires sat much like this... not quite as exaggerated as the illustration but you can see how riding on the outside tread of the tires can cause the steering to be sensitive to imperfections! an easy camber adjustment should help alleviate this problem.

Thanks for the response. After speaking with Greg, I checked the toe, and it was 1/8" toe-in. I think that is good, so I will have the alignment shop check the camber. Thanks again for your help!
