Stock ride height Titan 4x4 off road : Looking for better front shock

I'm looking for a stock ride height replacement front shock set that has better rebound and compression than the stock Rancho set up (which is pretty soft and bottoms out too much). I'm really not interested in spending thousands on a coil over set up. I'd just like something better at a reasonable price . If anyone has suggestions or has replaced their stock shocks with shocks they are happy or happier with, the info would be much appreciated. I see a lot of specialty shocks for lifted titans but don't know if these applications will work on a titan without the lift kit? Make and part number would be great! Thanks in advance..Steve

Re: Stock ride height Titan 4x4 off road : Looking for better front shock

currently there is nothing available! i emailed Bilstein about this several months ago and their response was that they hadn't even started working on one yet! their best guess was hopefully sometime the middle of this year they'd start developing one. with that said who knows how long that'll be and i wouldn't settle for anything less than a Bilstein or you'll just be throwing your money away unless you step up to a cheaper coilover like a SAW or a KING coilover valved by PRG.
