alignment PRG

I had the PRG leveling kit in my titan and had to take it out do to warrenty problems. I had it out for about 3 months and forgot to get the alignment set back to stock position were it should be and noticed that the inside of my tires are warn more than the rest of tire. My question is im putting the lift back in today and was wondering if i need to get another alignment since it should still be set from when i first put the lift in.

Re: alignment PRG

To be honest, anytime you mess with the front suspension you should have an allignment. For that fact, you should have an alignment done once a year anyway. Although I don't do that myself. lol

EricNY ... just wondering why you needed to removed the leveling kit for
some warrenty work. Sorry if this has already been covered in some other
posts, but I am new to this group.

Re: alignment PRG

The problem is that nissan dropped the ball and designed a ton of "bump steer" into the titans. any time you raise or lower the front more than around 1/2" it will mess-up the toe adjustment (lifted spindles actaully have less than the stock ones, go figure). Just as you needed to adjust the toe when you raised it, it would be right back to where it was before you raised it. Its about a 5 minute adjustemnt and not hard to do. At the same time, if you just put the spacer back in, it should not need an alignment as it will be right back to where it was before (although your tires have worn funny and it may feel a bit different).

I had a A$$hole install the lift for me and he beat the $hit out of the right strut and it was making a nasty clunking noise when i would hit bumps, so i brout it to nissan and they told me they wouldnt warrenty it unless i took the lift out.
