DR's, Bilstein's, Deavers, and ABS Line

OK,

I too have the standard "Greg Kit" I love it. He's the best and therefore, by default, it's the best. I still want to add the traction bars but I have to leave something for later this year.

Here are some pics along with the pics of an elongated ABS line. I had torn the old one by accident so I ordered new ones (like $30.00 each) for my local dealer. I spliced, twisted, soldered, heat wrapped both positive and negative and then covered the whole thing in heat wrap and voila...I can use the stock holders and have zip tied it out of the way except for the slack way up top.

Looks good!! I have one question though. You wheel does not seem to be centered in the wheelwell. I just ask because I see you have the deaver spring pack and I know you can put those in backwards and everything fits except it puts the rearend too far back. I may be tripping, just a question. The abs line work looks great though. I just added that to my "to do" list.

Re: DR's, Bilstein's, Deavers, and ABS Line

You CAN put the leaves in backward but the axle will still be in the same place as the primary/main leaf determines where the axle lines up and that never moves.

Re: DR's, Bilstein's, Deavers, and ABS Line

I put them in with the longer end towards the front of the truck.
It was a bit ago, but I believe that's what the instructions say...Greg?
