Question about PRG 2 inch front lift

I have visited PRG website and everyone here seems to like the product and appreciate Greg's expertise. My question is you can order the front spacers alone or the spacers with the rear 1" blocks. What is the difference? What purpose do the rear blocks serve? Will they make the truck not level again? OK so that was more than one question but better to ask now since I really don't know jack about lifting a truck. Thanks for any advise.

Will

Re: Question about PRG 2 inch front lift

Yes, you can get the front spacers seperately, it's the advertised leveling kit that only lifts the front. The "mini lift" kit includes the rear lift blocks for those of us who want to preserve the stock "rake" look (that is, rear taller than front for loads-in-bed/towing-trailer situations). The mini lift kit is slightly cheaper than purchasing the parts seperately.

Ahhhh Fort Knox, I went to basic there in 1991. I guess it isn't so bad since you are not in basic training.

Re: Question about PRG 2 inch front lift

OK I see so the 2" leveling kit does just that, and the 1" blocks kick the rear back up a little for hauling cool very good info. I guess I will just get the leveling kit since I don't haul anything but A$$ (LOL).

Helomech - I will be closing out a 21 year career this fall so nope definitely not in Basic (BCT). The scary thing is thinking about looking for a job again after soldiering for all this time

Thanks alot for the info guys

Will

What do you do in the Army? You are on Knox, so it probably something to do with armor.

I was a 67R Apache, do you have your A&P? If you do getting a job will be so easy.

Re: Question about PRG 2 inch front lift

Avionics techs with or without FCC license make the same amount as an A&P mechanic. Air log is hiring avionics techs all the time.

Do it you won't regret it. I love the way the prg level kit made my truck look. It is real easy to install, you have access to the bays on fort knox will make it even easier.
