6" ProComp, 20" Rockstars, and 35x12.5 Nittos
I have my lift kit sitting in my garage and I will be installing it tomorrow. The following day my wheels and tires should be in. I feel like its Christmas
 . Anyways I will be sure to post pictures as soon as it is done but I was wondering if anyone had any tips or things to watch out for on installing the procomp on a 4x4. I saw a few people that did it themselves on 4x2s but no 4x4s. I think it is pretty similar. I was also wondering if anyone has had any problems with their lift. Thanks |

You can check out these two threads...He's psted a lot of information on the prep before install and the install itself...with any problems that he encountered.
Where to grind Pro Comp spindles to fix steering? It's Lifted! (56k Beware!!) Good luck and congrats! |

I did the install myself and it's a 4x4. It took me a little over 20 hours to complete the install but I did everything, procomp, A-arms, deaver pack, dr coils. The two most time consuming parts was the hub replacement and the front differential. The hubs didn't want to come out of the factory spindles so I had to use a little persuasion (mallet and a punch). When it comes to dropping and reinstalling the front differential, if you don't have a tranny adapter for your floor jack, having a couple of friends helping you makes it a lot easier. I've had mine on for about 3 weeks now and haven't had any issues. I've even taken it off road in some hills and everything seemed fine.
