I'm new here, so I'm sure this topic has been beat to death. But which of the many front leveling kits is the most off road friendly? I have heard some of them can be quite noisy on the street. I am currently looking at the stillen and procomp kits. My only concerns are how will it affect my alignment and Will I need new shocks. I saw the procomp kit reccomends new shocks, but is it really needed? I have the off road package with the rancho shocks/struts. Also, how is the installation? I know the stillen kit just bolts between the strut ant the strut mount on the fender. Is the procomp the same way??? I would prefer something like that. With this lift, whats the max size tire I can fit without rubbing off road. If it dont rub off road it won't rub on the street right....I want to be running 33/12.5R17 or 35/12.5R17. Eventually I would like to be running on 38/15.5R18, but thats another subject. Glass fenders and all.
On a completely different subject.... Does anyone make a 4" lift spindle for the 4wd that's actually worth a pile o beans???
Another thing, all I am really looking for is REAL ground clearance for the front. I dont want to have crossmember drop brackets defeating the purpose of the lift.
For the money the PRG 4" Performance lift is hard to beat plus if you want to go bigger you have a great foundation to build from. The link in the above post is where you get the kit I mentioned. Just in case you did not know.
If you're just trying to lift the front end to level out the truck then Greg has a little mini lift that you can install. Its super simple - basically just some 2" thick billet aluminum blocks that fit between the shock upper and coil bucket, plus some new bump stops. I'm running that until I save up the green to do a 6". His website doesn't have everything that he carries so its best to send him a PM or call.
-Anytime you lift you're going to need an alignment.

I think the mini lift lifts the back also. If you just want to level then you need to order just the level kit.

Thanks for the info,

The best way to go to just level it is the spacers, However if you do any offroading then go for the DR coilovers or you will blow the front shocks in a matter of time. This comes from experiance, The factory shocks are junk so just save up and get the coilovers and Bilsteins for the rear and your good to go.

Thanx alot for all your help guys!!! For now I will be buying the stillen kit, but future plans call for the prg kit. I have some things for sale in the for sale section by the way. later!
The PRG level kit is $10 cheaper, includes shipping, and includes bumpstops.
Follow the link in post #3, or my sig, then select suspension tab on the left. 1st item are the level kits. The 2" one is for the 4X4 and 2.5" kit is for the 2wd Titans.
