Rancho is not a 4" lift

I don't know how Rancho measure's their lift. My truck is actually 6.5" taller than my coworkers stock Titan. I am measuring the bottom of the tow hooks from the ground up to the bottom of the tow hook. My tires only gained me an inch in height. So how did they determine it is a 4" lift?

Re: Rancho is not a 4" lift

also my 315/70/17 tires are supposedly suppose to be 34.4" in diameter. But I am only measuring 33.5" in diameter.. again how did they come with this measurement?

What is the height from the ground to your tow hook?

Re: Rancho is not a 4" lift

Wouldn't it be better to measure from the top of the wheel well arch to the ground? Perhaps that is where is it wrong. I am thinking that because he has a stock Titan with a raked stance that the front end pointing down would cause the tow hooks to point down as well. Thus creating it to be shorter.

Re: Rancho is not a 4" lift

PRG posted a long long time ago that the Rancho actually provides 5.5 inches, not 4.

that sounds about right.. 5.5" if you keep stock tires. 6.5" if you go 35" tires.
