Pro Comp 6" question...HELP

Well spent most of the day trying to do this on my own... OK so far I guess.
Well I am at the "transfer the parts from the old knuckle (spindle)
So how do you get the hubs out? I don't want to break anything?
Thanks!
Steve

Re: Pro Comp 6" question...HELP

I had the same problem. I had to call PRG and ask him how he does it. He said that he just unbolts the three bolts that hold the hub in (obvious) and then smacks the hub with a RUBBER mallet. I had tried this until my upper half was sore then I took it to the neighbors and put it in his hydro press. After pressing them out, I realized that I could have smacked them for 5 days with the mallet and they wouldnt have came out. It sounded like a shotgun blast when they finally popped loose. My truck had about 15K on it when I did my lift so if yours is newer, maybe you could break them loose with a mallet? Myself, I would just get them pressed out.

Hmm I guess I could try pounding on them. Maybe Pep Boys would pop them out for me. Thanks!

You got that right! The Gods are with him too. I broke mine...then went to a tire shop and paid them to press them out.

Got the front done. I think I am going to fab up a new skid plate though.
