measured wheel travel..pics

Ok, while messing around yesterday, i decided to see what the truck would measure stop-to-stop. Here are the pics. Keep in mind this is with the TC upper a-arms and the bucket ground just a bit. The shock is the limiting factor as it would be about 3/4" less than what is shown here (about 10.5-ish). Oh well, just wanted to post pics so people can see. I think stock wheel travel is about 7.5".

Re: measured wheel travel..pics

Greg
Looks Good a couple of questions:
Is this with the DRE's and custom spacer of the 4" performance lift setup also?? Or is this Stock with just TC Arms and bucket grind?? Will the spacer add or subtract from the travel??
Thanks

Re: measured wheel travel..pics

With the DRE i belive wheel travel is around 8.5-9" (this is what the factory should have provided, but they fell short and DRE was able to pull it off). Just using the TC upper arm wont give you anymore travel, but more height (combined with the spacer and bumpstop) and a stronger arm w/ better geometry. There is no need to just add the tc upper arm (to either a stock truck or just with the DRE coilover), it really needs to be used in conjunction with a custom package to get the most from it.

Re: measured wheel travel..pics

oh yeah greg, i notice the increase when i plow through dips and what not and the DR/TC setup soaks it right up as where before with the OEM travel i was bottoming out and nailing the coilbucket, etc.

Hey Greg
When is your new site coming online? Will you have any DR/Bilstein deals beside the $41 savings?
