resevoir coilovers and deavers from Greg

I just got off the phone with Greg putting in my order for deaver and these bad boys

Should have them by end of the week and installed the following week. This Fabtech ride is not so great but the addition of this stuff should take care of all that and my rubbing issues.... Thanks Greg!!!

Re: resevoir coilovers and deavers from Greg

Looks cool but I got a question for ya.

Why the resevoir coilovers??? I thought those were just for Baja racing where you do so much high speed offroading that repeated rebounding overheats the fluid...???

Am I way off base?

If they were cheaper then the DR's I would get them. I don't know why the would cost more then 1,200.

If your truck is still stock they won't work. They are only for lifted applications. DREs are the only stock option from PRG.

Greg describes them in the post of the link, and shows them with both the eibach and fox springs:

Re: resevoir coilovers and deavers from Greg

Mine were $1199. He said they were the best of all that he carries. I got mine with the blue springs, I think they are the fox's.

Adivas99, as far as I know you are correct. But if they are good enough for racing why wouldn't you want them if the price was just about the same? Anyways, these should enable me to not have to slow down for speed bumps..and that would be nice because I go over alot of them everyday at my job!!!!

Its gonna take alot more than just a set of coilovers to run a desert race.

that's my motto and with the stock set-up i couldn't live that creedo! now i can!

btw, Kartman is 100% correct! even with my DRs, TC arms, CST spindles, Deavers, Bilsteins something would eventually fail! Baja races are extremely grueling and destroy just about everything! but for local offroading trails and what-not its perfect!!

supadupaz, i was holding dem bad boyz in my hands yesterday and those rese-coilovers are a pair of bad motha-fuggers!! i mentioned to greg maybe i'd switch out my Donohoes for those and he said i couldn't have them cause i would need a lift kit, plus my Donohoes are equal to the task! but they sure look mean as hell...!!

Re: resevoir coilovers and deavers from Greg

The main coilover assembly looks like DR parts. I don't know about the rest.
