Im thinking about doing the Dr's with the TC UCA's to level my truck and get better handling for offroad. I dont do any extreme offroading, just a lot of driving on construction jobsites, going out to the desert to go shooting or dirtbiking etc. I just wanted to get opinions on the ride difference onroad and offroad.

there is no need to add the upper arm unless you decide to add a small spacer to get you the added lift afforded by the arms. Some shops try to sell these parts as a package, but you do not need the new arms with the DR coilovers.

Oh, i thought for some reason it would give a little bit better ride or something, i dont know. Well how do the dr's by themselves compare to stock?

The TC arms will give you more droop which can improve ride depending on how much preload you have but they are not required.
is that like giving it more travel? Sorry for the nooby question cuz I was thinking I wanted to get TC arms in the future just to get away from the stock setup since it should be stronger.

I know you have had both kartman, so I would like to get your opinion. I drive on a fair amount of unpaved roads, really rough paved roads, construction jobsites, and through desert roads but I dont go offroading through the middle of the desert. I spend a lot of time on regular paved roads and highways as well, so I am looking for something to give me the best street ride and the best ride for my limited "offroading".

Well the SAW gives you an extra inch of bump (up travel) over the DR. I also feel the valving is better and preferred the ride on the street and in the dirt with the SAWs. Both are great shocks though.

Its a truck with bigger shocks and stuff.
Before
Front: DRs at ~2" lift
Rear: PRG/Bilsteins shocks rear:
After v
Front: DRE at ~2", plus Total Chaos upper A-arms and 1" PRG custom spacer for ~3" lift, (could probably get another 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch lift in front).
Rear: PRG/Bilstein shocks rear, 1" mini-pak (~1.5" actual), and TC 3/4" lowering shackle.
I have the dr setup and I love it, big diff off road! I dont get big air so the extra inch of up travel with the saw's was not much use to me. But I wish there was a way to get more down travel (I have the TC UCA) out of the setup with out going to Long travel? Go with the dr's, you can use them later if you go with a bracket lift, which is what I plan to do if I can handle not parking in the garage. My two cents
I assumed that the SAW's with TC uppers would give you more droop travel, because you couldn't run the SAW's with out the upper arm. How can we get more compression travel with the stock bottoming snubbers where they are?
