Camber Kit

Well I took my Titan in to install the camber kit. My tires were starting to feather. I paid $183 for everything, so now I dont have to worry about the alignment issues anymore.

Re: Camber Kit

I am going to get mine done just for the heck of it also. I am going to put my leveling kit on next month and plan to lift it more later, so I might as well get it done now. I found someone online who sells the OEM kit shipped for $55.

Re: Camber Kit

If you're talking about the alignment cams and bolts, there is a TSB out there already and you could have gotten this kit and the alignment free of charge at your dealer.

I rolled in with my Titan after installing the PRG 2" leveling kit and told the dealer that my tires were wearing pretty bad. He told me that he could see the lift, but would warranty the parts and labor to install the alignment cams and bolts that DO NOT come standard on '06 Titans.

Re: Camber Kit

Sorry to hear that man. Dealer took care of everything for me free or charge.

I just knew he was going to blame it on my 2" PRG lift, but he did it anyway.

I guess he was just trying to earn my business. I believe that dealers have a "slush fund" for doing freebies to earn future business.

My wife took her Toyota Highlander in for an oil change and the Service Advisor threw in windshield wipers free of charge. I know it's not much, but every little bit helps.

Re: Camber Kit

Why would this not be standard in '06. My dealer order the kit today. If the truck is over 12000 mi is it still free?

Re: Camber Kit

My truck is going in tomorrow for service work on something unrelated. I was hoping to have them do the cam bolts then. I did and allignment on it after my lift, and they got it to spec, but just barely on the camber. The cam bolts are just a matter of time for me. I hope they'll do them as part of the TSB that came out. I think it's really odd that some will and some won't.

Re: Camber Kit

Try nissanhelp.com thats where i seen it from someone elses post. This is a kit that will help on your alignment. I guess Nissan didnt put these type of bolts on for the 2006 Titans

Re: Camber Kit

There is a TSB. The TSB says that your truck's alignment must be off and the tec must drive your truck to confirm that it is off. The TSB says that you can have the bolts when you get your alignment done. Mine pulls to the right a tiny bit. I am going to try to get them to put the bolts on. I am going to bring a copy of the TSB and demand it.

Re: Camber Kit

That's what I did, I went in with my lifted Titan that was pulling to the right. The service advisor saw that I had lifted the front, but told me that he would warranty the alignment and the alignment cams and bolts free of charge.

I had the printed out TSB with me, but he was already aware of it, so I didn't have to get nasty with him.

Re: Camber Kit

I'm getting the PRG MiniLift 2-1/2" & 1" done next week. Dealer Parts guy said there is not a "kit". I have bought one bolt and have second bolt on order, is there anything else I need besides these two special bolts.

I want all parts on hand for my regular mechanic to install prior to getting alignment at shop next door to him.

I'm not doing dealer alignment as it is too inconvenient compared to my regular mechanic and alignment shop located near my job.

I willlook for info alluded to above. Posting complete answer here would be helpful???

Re: Camber Kit

There was/is a thread around here that listed all the part numbers and how many you'd need, but danged if I can find it. IIRC there's two bolts on each side for four total.
