last but not least
if you plan on airing out your truck i dont care what make and model it is plan on breaking stuff. PERIOD
the body lift is just that, a body lift and doing extreme off roading will no doubt over time cause damage to any vehicle
mull it over and dont let all the anti body lift people steer you in a direction you may not need to go if you know its intended use on your truck and above all whomever installs it just make sure they do quality work.
I second that one...everyone has there opinions but its only you that knows your driving habits
man you sure know what you talking about, did a 3' body lift on my dog dakota and it improved ride quality 100% so there are a lot of anti- body lift people out there I know
Anyone have pic of how the back looks whit body lift like the hitch bumper and the front tow hooks im still debating if i get one??????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????

I'd like to see how this looks also, mostly the hitch in back, how it sits after a 3" body lift.
THanks

You CAN go offroading with a body lift kit! The problem is, body lifts simply lifts the body and keeps the suspension in the same location giving you no additional clearance to go over obstacles and NOT get stuck. Whereas, suspension lifts actually lift up your suspension and give you more clearance making offroad sessions more fun because you can go more places.
I'm with the others...I prefer suspension to body lifts; however, sometimes a 1" or 2" body lift in combo with suspension looks really good and gives that little extra clearance for tires, etc.
I am still reading up on the lifts for the Titans, but an "old" trick for Jeep Wranglers was to take hockey pucks and drill out the centers and then buy some grade 8 hardware to mount them. I believe it gave you a 1.25" body lift, and cost was very minimal (maybe $40 or so).
A body lift is a good way to go ONLY if you never plan on going offroad but want the look and to be able to fit larger tires without spending alot of cash. On to the question. I believe because XE s have a column shifter and SE,LE have centerconsole shifters. The front bumper may also play a part.
I have an se with a colum shift....all of the PRO-4X's that I have seen here in the tucson area area ll colum shift as well.....
if u read all the posts there are several guys with column shifters including myself and none have issues with the bodylift and the column shifter...
hitch gap, my hitch is aftermarket tho, so I'm not sure how a factory one will look... I may make some custom brackets one day, but atm it's not a priority 4 me...

As you can see I have both! I beAt my truck on and off the pavement! I have yet to worry about the body lift while off road, iam alwAys thinking more about the "moving" parts failing first since they are taking a beating, while the body doesn't flex on the frame.
There's ppl on here who have went to u-haul and had they're hitch reweled to close the gap and you can't tell from the rear that it's BLifted. The tow hooks however still function but look out of place.
Everyone has an opinion but not everyone has a bodylift. I've seen 1 person post on this forum about regreting the body lift. Everyone else with the BL will probably say it got the "job" done meaning got them the clearance, or the look they wanted for a reasonable price!

Ah thanks for pointing that out. I wouldn't have thought about that.

It's really not as hard as people make it out to be. After doing mine I could probably do one in a day. The directions are just a little misleading and hard to read.
Anyone know of a good deal on a 3"body lift. $311 on amazon.com, but im hitting the 4wheel jambo in Indy tomorrow (Sun) Want to have some good ammo if i can find one there! Thanks, sorry to hijack the thread!
Nevermind. 4wheelparts shipped to my door for $312 total for a PA 3" bl with bumper brackets. Amazing how low they will go at a 4 Wheel Jamboree!
