New 3" sway-a-way coilovers from PRG

I just got all this stuff from PRG and installed over last few days. The list includes: Sway-a-way coilovers (designed for more droop when used with TC a-arm), TC a-arm, Deaver 1" mini spring pack, Donahoe rear shocks and PRG street traction bars. Install went very smoothly and the street ride is greatly improved over the stock coilovers and stock rear springs/shocks. Haven't taken it off road yet but I'll be trying it out next weekend in Big Bear. The Sway-a-ways have a unique top mount which allows for a liitle more travel when used with the TC a-arm. I have the coilovers cranked for about 3 inches of lift. Wheels are 20x9 and tires are 305/55/20 Terra Grapplers. Once again, great stuff from PRG

OH, you can afford it Aqua, look at that mod list you've got going there! That's why I bought coilvers first, before any other mods.....

Traction bars have been great and completely did a way with my rear wheel "clunk" when stepping on it. I see you did a little front end "adjustment" yourself? How is the ride with the front Radflo's?

Night and Day. I blew out the stockies on my truck, so even going over a speedbump at more than 10mph would bottom out. But with these, it just soaks up bumps like nothing. As a matter of fact, I have to remember to slow down for bumps when my wife's with me, as she starts to yell at me for driving too fast into a bump/dip/etc.

could you be more specific, kartman? smoother street ride? better offroad? i'm close to getting some coilovers and i want to get the best for my application; that would be excellent street handling of bumps and occasional offroading.

Re: New 3" sway-a-way coilovers from PRG

mlueters - are you using a spindle lift? it doesn't look like it but you're able to run the SAW's.

SAWs require Chaos arms but you can run them with or without a spindle lift.
