PRG'd...

I finally got my titan mini lifted by PRG Greg. I got the 2.5 up front and the 1.5 in the rear. it makes my truck look so much better, looks a lot bigger. Ride quality is the same if not better. I also got the bilstein 5100 shocks in the rear. Overall, I love my truck. I love the way it sits/looks. I now have my DREAM vehicle. it's money well spent. THANKS Greg.

Re: PRG'd...

i did the 4" spindle from cst and greg installed it. i havent thanked him enough so greg if you read this thanks again. the whole kit and donahue coilover in the front and radflo in the rear was recommended by greg and its awesome...anyone that rides in my truck says that its so comfortable that it doesnt even feel like its lifted...the only lift you should do is what greg recommends...

Trust me, I have a CST kit on my truck, and my buddy's truck sat about 1" higher than mine (he had DRs, I was running stock coilovers). But bang for the bucket, the PRG Performance lift gets you a bit higher than CST, with less wallet damage, AND a bit more travel.

BUT i stil THOROUGHLY enjoy my kit

Re: PRG'd...

I'm going to PRG for my front spacer install on the 13th! I can't wait. Man it will be so tempting not to want to buy the rest of my lift. I'm engaged as well. I had no idea weddings costed so much. And of course she wants a nice wedding. I should push for a wedding at the beach harder. lol.

hey man, you should get the mini lift. your truck would look so much better believe me. after he installed the front, the front was higher than the rear, nice look, but i have a boat, i don't want the rear sagging tooo much, i got the 1.5 in the rear. the rear is slighty higher than the front. if you don't like that get the 1 inch rear. believe me man, if you do the prg front spacer, you gotta go all the way. it's not that much more. do it right. get the MINI lift.

I don't know who is blowing you smoke. It is more expensive to go prg then a cst. It is 1200 for coils, 700 for spindle, 500 for total koas upper control arm, 180 for rear shocks. It adds up fast. If you shop you can find the cst for 1550-1800.

i think what he meant by "less wallet damage" was less at one given time! c'mon Pyroholic read between the lines!!!

the GREAT thing about shopping the PRG way is everything is modular so you can add a little here and add a little there. with the CST kit you've got to blow your wad in one shot...

Right u r Ken, I mean Hoolidude, I went Bilstein shocks in the Titan's rear, then a few months later - DRE coilovers in its front.

Then after catching wifey at a weak moment, planned our vacation around completion of the PRG 4" Performance Package - Riverside Cali baby, #1 vacation destination on all the forums, (well the ones I frequent ).

Bottom line you will need to buy some decent shocks. CST and Procomp stage1 are the way to go if you want a drop down bracket lift. But if you want anything better than a stock suspension, (which might be ok if you are just a poser), you need to get some qualility shocks and coilovers. So add "1200 for coils" and "180 for rear shocks" to your "cst for 1550-1800". Damn your CST is looking way more to me. lol

Even if you are just a 'poser truck', quality shocks are a wise investment. I blew out my stockies about a week or so after installing my CST kit. I don't do any off roading (other than that dirt track by Greg's house, and that doesn't count) and i noticed a huge difference in ride quality. Even though I got my kit for 1600 w/ deavers, add in 400 for rear radflos and 1300 for the front radflos, its still more than my wife thinks i spent. (total being 3300 w/o tires and wheels.) but that's just our secret

unless you hop in the passenger seat of Greg's titan and he pegs the gas pedal to the floor and you're clenching your a$$ cheeks in fear, only to have Greg turn to you and say, "don't worry i'll let you know if we're gonna crash!" LOL!!! i don't think i told greg but i shat a couple of purple twinkies while riding with him! good god can he drive though!!!!

another thing about piecing the suspension together is keeping the spending incognito from the wife! my wife still thinks i just bought spindles!! LOL!!!
