Smile procomp 2.5" lift

i just got a new titan on sunday and i love the truck. traded in my lifted 04 chevy wanted something with more power . i installed a procomp 2.5 lift today took just over an hour to do . the kit has two spacers one that goes between the frame and top of strut . the other one goes between the coil spring and strut plate. i have been reading these forums for about 5 days so i thought i would listen to you guys . i didnt want to break my struts do to the spacer between the coil spring . i didnt install that spacer, just the spacer that goes above the strut. damn it looks great and rides just like stock, no spring bucket hitting the arm and no strut knock..
if you do a front lift make sure you have a good coil spring tool . the coil springs are firm and almost dont move . i can see why with the spacer added it would break the strut .

Re: procomp 2.5" lift

The bolts that you ran thorough the upper plate will always loosen and leave you with noises. and you will loose about 1/4"-1/2" of lift per year until the bushing is about 1/2 its height now. and if you over tighten the bolts it will deform the coilbucket. just a heads-up.
