Confused - Suspension, tires & wheels
Hey all,
I've been lurking around here for awhile, drooling over all your trucks since I purchased my black '06 Titan SE +offroad +tow. I've had high hopes of adding some personality to it but it seems the more I read, the more I get confused. Ultimately, what I'm going for is a little more aggressive stance & nice street ride running 35" tires. I don't do much off-road, except for snow. Some have posted that I could get the 35's under the stock suspension, others have posted at least a 4" lift is needed. What about backspacing? Some said a -5" is needed? A lot of poeple recommend PRG stuff but I get lost in all the spacers, coilovers, radflos, etc. I'm just not sure what all I need. Also installation is an issue. I'm in Utah so I don't know who could install the suspension if needed. Please help...You are all making my truck jealous =) ... castle9mm |

my titan was lifted by greg at prg. you should give him a call and he will advice you in everything you need.

Well, you probably don't need the Donahoe Racing coilovers but they do improve the street ride. If you stick with your stock rims, you can most likely get 35s under your truck with a 2" front leveling kit and either 1" rear blocks or the 1.5" Deaver leaf pack for the rear. can't lose with nitto terra grapplers for your tires... you'll need at least a spindle lift (4" lift) for your titan to fit the 35's. good luck.
