Question need suggestions quick please

sorry all i know i'm new and still searching through all the threads but need to make my mind up quick so thought i'd throw this out as i continue to search.

i pick up my new titan tomorrow! pretty stoked and can't wait. i have 4500 bucks once i pick it up to head to the 4x4 shop. i can go as high as 6" and 35" and not void any warrenty (as per 4wheel parts and nissan's aggrement).

anyway what lift should i be looking for? i have a procomp on my wrangler and i guess it's been ok over the years but am thinking maybe of going with fab tec. also looking for a good tire that will work well as a DD and good in the snow as i am in Denver and am in the mountains and towing sleds in the winter all the time. i'm a swamper lover but hate em in the snow. any ideas there?

also anything i should be aware of when lifting? gonna drive like stink? or are they driving really well still? sorry for all the newb questions as i contiune to search but wanted to get this going asap and learn as much as i can before getting her into the shop.

thanks all.

Be careful of the Fabtech and your warrantee. PC and Nissan have a strage thing going about the "no Fear" package, usually fully covered by the 36000 mile warantee. While i really dont recomend the coilovers that come with that kit, the pc is great. and if you press them hard enough 4wpw will give a pretty good deal. but spend a hundred extra bucks when you are done and have a real shop look everything over and fix all the mistakes and tighten the loose bolts.

Re: need suggestions quick please

I agree with what PRG said. The PC kit is really good and even though I have a 2x the PC kit is the same for 4X. And really easy to install. Have the bolts re-torqued a couple times. I say that mine were loose and made some noise. The only thing that I wish was different with the PC kit is the rear block. I would like to go with an add-a-leaf and smaller block for less axle wrap. The block I had needed to have a 3 degree cut made on it to stop vibration. I say get the PC lift and spend some cash for something different out back.

Not entirley true. Depends on the tire and the wheel offset and if you do any trimming. I have wide (13.5) 35s with a 4 inch lift.

Re: need suggestions quick please

No, its universial its a Titan. I could taken the easy way out by trimming, but looks really cheap, best thing to do is ask your local tire expert. Good Luck!

Re: need suggestions quick please

I went with the cst kit after researching everything. The cst has a one piece drop down sub frame in the front and "has the best drop down bracket" (www.PRGproducts.com). It is a 7" lift and I have not heard of it voiding the warranty. It all depends on how much you want to spend. For tires, you said it will be a daily driver and see snow, I would look into something like the Bfg k/o 315/70/17 so you don't lose too much MPG. Make sure you use the offset the lift suggests. Like the Cst says 5". If the wheels stick out too much that is where you run into rubbing when at full turn, like me.

I had my fenders trimed, and you can't tell unless i point it out. The quality of the fender trimming is entirely based on who is doing the trimming. when the shop trimmed my fenders, they also cut the same amount off the inner liner, so it would cover the gap.
