Before I get my level kit from PRG..........

Should I swap my shackles back to stock shackles? I removed the stocks and put the .5 inch drop in the back. Would it matter a big difference if I just left them on?

Depends. On 4x2, the front lift is 2.5 inches. On 4x4 it's 2 inches. Some guys on here say the 2.5 lifts it perfectly level to the eye. Some like the 2". If it were me, I don't care if it's 4x2 or 4x4, I'd leave it as is, put the front lift on, then look at it to see if you like it or can even tell any difference between the front & back wheelwell openings. Then decide whether or not you want to do the extra work to put the stock shackles back on.

Re: Before I get my level kit from PRG..........

exactly!!! I'm NOT SURE IF I WANT TO DO THE EXTRA WORK!!! haha It wasn't bad doing the project but just putting it back to the way it was in the first place, I just don't want to go through it again. Yea. Mines the 4x2. I kpet looking and it might not look out of place if I just left them how they are right now. Thanks for the advice.

Did you get the 2" or the 2.5" front leveling kit? Some say the 2" kit still leaves 1/2" of rake to the truck. So with the 2.5" 4x2 kit, you might be dead level. And yeah, why do the extra work if you don't have to. Wait and see.

PRG has 2 different ones? hmm. I'm thinking since I already lowered it that half inch in the back, maybe just go with the 2 inch. Maybe tomorrow I'll measure it out from tire to the bed of my truck and from the tire to the front fender and see how much of a difference there.

You can either call and order it or just order the 4wd kit/ 2" kit off the site.

Yo Greg. I might be giving you a call sometime after the first week of October and see if you'd be available to install. Thanks for the tip on level kit
