PRG Long Travel

Greg posted this over on CT for those that don't frequent both sites:

"We will have a 2/4wd mid-travel kit that will sell with coilover, airbump, axle shafts ect for around $4000-ish (less for 2wd) and will cycle about 12-13". This does not include fiberglass. We will also have an 18" travel kit around mid feb that we will be racing on that will be boxed upper, lower, shock hoop, boxed spindle upright, double-sheer steering, uniballs/heims at each pivot. Price will be around mid $5k w/o coilover or bypass. Also, check Dezertrangers.com and search there a bit for titan stuff. You may get offended a bit, but its a pretty informative site."

Greg, I am curious how much a 4" Performance Package cycles and when can we expect to see the mid-travel kit available if you know?

Great to see he's going to offer a 2wd LT kit w/ coilovers.
Greg, would the $4K kit also come w/ shock hoops, similar to the setup you have on your work truck?

It sounds SO tempting...

Re: PRG Long Travel

My 4 inch kit with DR shocks cycled 8.5-9. With SAWs I get 9.5-10

Re: PRG Long Travel

That was the 4" performance pkg you had before(at least I think you had) or the 4" spindle setup you have now.

Would the fact that my truck is 4wd reduce the amount of cycle in comparison to you?

kartman, will you be looking into Gregs new long travel kit when its out?

Re: PRG Long Travel

I had the 4" perf kit. The spindles dont really affect the total travel.

I dont think 4wd would change anything but I cant say for sure.

Nope, it will be a great kit but I dont need an LT titan when I have a 21 inch LT race truck.

Re: PRG Long Travel

Good point!

I don't think I will go all out for the long travel kit but I might be interested in this new mid-travel kit Greg is talking about. I need to get more details but it could be a very happy medium. I will be very interested if it allows just a bit more lift than the 4" performance pkg. I would really like a true 4"-5" of lift without going to a kit like ProComp, FabTech, CST.
