They look like bushings for the shocks. Should go in the ends of the shocks. Some times they give you extras for different applications.

Re: Bilstein 5100 install question

They are the sleeves that go inside the poly on both ends of the shocks.

Re: Bilstein 5100 install question

That's what I figured they were, but the shocks already have the rubber bushings with the metal sleeves inside. So I can assume they are just spares?

there are different sized bushings and sleeves due to the size of the bolt/stud used to attach the shocks are not all the same between nissan, toy, gm, etc. when u change them you'll figure it out.

Re: Bilstein 5100 install question

Yeah, and they are a PITA to get in and out. At least I've not found a good way, other than a wooden block and a BFH.

Re: Bilstein 5100 install question

If you bought them from me, i just forgot to throw those sleves away. They are 1/2" id and wont work for anything on this truck.

Re: Bilstein 5100 install question

Dank, greg was correct. I purchased those bilstiens when they
first came out and just left them in the box if anyone needed
them at first. The original fitted bilstiens also needed the washers
as well, unlike the newer ones. Just toss them out. Sorry. Happy
trails....

Re: Bilstein 5100 install question

This may be a stupid question, but do the Bilstein's install with the dust boot on the top or the bottom? Or does it matter?

Thanks,
-C
