Can you add a leveling kit to a fabtech/procomp to run 37's

So I was wondering if you could add a leveling kit to a fabtech of procomp lift kit so that I would beable to run 37's. I have seen people do this. But I have also talked to my local 4x4 shop and they say it would put to much of an angle on the cv joints or something like that. I thought austin with the big green titan ran something like this. I have talked to greg and he said that he has a kit for $3500 bucks. I was just wondering if this would work? Also I dont want to run a body lift that is why I am trying to find a different way.
Thanks
Nick

Re: Can you add a leveling kit to a fabtech/procomp to run 37's

I know that PRG/Greg has a custom spacer that he sells to go w/ the Radflo and FabTech lift to gain an additional 2" of lift...but you would also need to get the Chaos A-Arms. However, since you have a 4x4, I don't really know how to go about this...b/c of the CV angle.

If Greg says he has a kit for 3500, go w/ what he says. He's the most reliable source when it comes to suspension and what will and won't work w/ the Titan.

Re: Can you add a leveling kit to a fabtech/procomp to run 37's

I have a 4wd and my local 4x4 shop told me the same thing, but they don't have any experience with Titan's compared with Greg. Greg sold me a Fabtech, the Radflow coilovers with custom spacer, TC arms, Deaver mini pack and all the trimings to get me 9 inches in the front and 7 inches in the rear. It is a sweet set up that will clear 37's. No problems, only praises for Greg's expert advise. The truck rides much better than stock.

I have 37's, but I just went a step further and added a 3 inch body lift too. I know that's overkill. I have been hearing it from my wife who has a hard time climbing in. My signature has all the details.

If you can afford it, get it from Greg.

Re: Can you add a leveling kit to a fabtech/procomp to run 37's

I bought from Greg the basic Fabtech kit and the coilovers with his custom spacer. The coilovers and the spacers bolted up nicely. The coilovers seemed to setttle anout 1/2 to 3/4 inch, but I cranked them up before I got the alignment. With 9 inches in the front and with some trimming of the coil bucket I still have some down travel. May I say that 9 inches would be the max for a 4wd.

As far as handling off road, the lift finshed a couple of weeks ago so I haven't tested it out yet because of time and the snow & ice. I off roaded regularly before the kit went on, so I'm hoping to see an improvement. Also, I had taken off the sway bar, which allows a little body roll when turning sharp corners.

Hopefull, I may get some more pics this weekend and get them posted.

Go with Greg's 9 inch lift and you will be very pleased.

With the Fabtech, the differential mounts must be cut.

I bought mine "one piece at a time", but most of it thru Greg. I have about 3,550 in my set up. The rear blocks and brake lines I got somewhere else which I ended up paying more. So 3,500 package deal sounds great.

No welding requred. But since the frame is cut, there is no way to return it back to stock if you change your mind.
