? abt 2/3 drop and shackles

a few month ago i put in drp shackles on the truck to drop back a little. now i want to go ahead with the drop kit 2/3 from Mcgaughy's. i did not keep the stock shackels though. will this be a problem, can the kit still be installed. also if it can be installed will the drop be bigger in the back than 3 inches i dont' want the back end to be lower than front want to keep it as level as possible. also anybody with Mcgaughy's kit is the truck pretty level. from some of the pics i've seen the front seems a littel higher than front still. thanks.
