Im trying to find out what the average mpg of all the lifted titans out there are getting. Please state any mods, the lift (extras too), and the mpg of course. Even better would be if you knew the mpg before the lift compared to what your getting now.
Thanks a bunch, -Jeff
On stock 17" OffRoad package wheels w/ 245/75/17s I got 14.5 city and 18 highway. I just installed the 4" PRG Performance lift with 325/60/18 on Motto Metal 951 Blacks and I'm getting 11 city and have not taken a highway road trip yet.
thx for the post firefytr, so you lost about 3.5 mpg in the city. im curious to see the difference on the highway. you considering getting exhaust and cai to help out that diff?
common i know there's more than just one lifted titan out there....
4" PRG Performance lift with 315/70/17 BFG All ter and I avg 300 miles per tank with about 50% highway. Not sure on the exact MPG number since my speedo is off alittle with the larger tires.
guys when figuring milage with different diameter tires dont forget to account for the speedo/odometer being off......
I thought I would have to do something for the speed being off but every time I go past one of those "speed limit" signs. It says what my needle is saying?
Either rate mods listed in signature and I get about 300 a tank and varies on my foot being heavy or not but average is around 13.5 city and 15 freeway currently. I think before my lift ect I got 14 city and 15.5 freeway.
Id really like to get a GPS to tell me how many miles I am actually going ect and calcualte it that way since there was a thread about some odometers being off? Just dont have a Garmin Etrex yet :-)

your tires diameter could be the same (or close enough) even if they are a different size..... check this out, at the very bottom of the page http://www.izook.com/gearcalc.htm
Stunt Driver - thanks for the calculator that helped :-)
Old Diameter - 32.606 - Continental 265/70R 18
New Diameter - 33.354 - Nitto 325/60R 18

The calculation from the website said that if I was going 40 on the old tires it would equate to 40.91.
Guess its not much of a change for me in that respect. Also why if I am hitting 40 on the nose it still technically is lower than 41 so the speed things are right?

I already have both: Flowmaster 40 series cat back and K&N CAI

I tried to use calculation page on speedometer difference. When I put my info in all I got was NaN everytime?????? I went from 245/75/17 to 325/60/18 so I do not know how much my speedometer is affected. It has to be somewhat b/c I was not expecting an almost 4 MPG loss from the mild lift and new tires. I knew there would be some but not that much. I'd like to find out how much my speedometer is off.

Your old Diameter is - 31.468
New Diameter is - 33.354
The second calculation down at 40 mph reading from your old tire you are actially going 42.397MPH. So you might want to adjust your speed a bit lower to keep it around the right speed - @ 75mph (Highest in AZ) you are actually going 79.495Mph.
You also went from 17' wheel to 18' right? That helps contribute to the crappy MPG.

so the wheel size also has an affect on mpg as well??? i was unaware of this....
anyone know what a 8-9" lift, 37" tires would get me on mpg? (im scared to find out)
I get 12 mpg avg. city/highway in the wintertime with stock tires. Summertime with 35"ers and including adjustment for odometer, 14.5 mpg avg city/hwy.
my guess with the 37's would be somewhere around 7-8 mpg....
right now with 315 70R17's and a 6inch Pro Comp lift....
I get 8-10 around town and 14 hwy...and that's with driving like an old lady...I drive 60-65mph on hwy with the cruise set and I baby it around town....I'd hate to see how bad it is if I was heavy on the foot....
