A little more front end lift with the Procomp 6" already installed??
Hello all. So just like the title says. I have the Procomp 6" lift (stage 1). I was wondering if there is any way to get a little more lift out of the front end? I have the Deavers in the rear and like the look, but would like to level it out a little more, or maybe even have the front end sit just a touch higher then the rear. Is there a spacer kit or something I could do to acheive this without having to mess with anything else (brake lines, etc.) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

yup, what he ^ said... PRG's UCA will help add inch and the full coilover's should give it better ride in front... or you can call PRG and ask him what he recommends for what style driving/ride quality you want...

You state you have the stage 1 ProComp, which is a 6" spacer on the stock coil-over. Adding another spacer is a big "No No". If you buy the Radflo's from PRG as the others suggest, you can adjust it more. You can also add PRG's 2" leveling spacer on top of the radflo to get 8" of lift in the front.
Radflo's: $1200
Level kit: $200
= No inexpensive way to do it!!!

I have the 6" ProComp lift also with there coilovers. If you have the same, are they turned all the way up? I left mine the way they came out of the box and I'm going to crank them up as soon as I get an add-a-leaf for the rear. If you have the same as I have, maybe you can add a 1" spacer on top of the coil.

From PRG's site:
These 2.0" Radflo coilover shocks provide 0-3" lift on 4WD and 1 to 4" on 2WD and greatly improve the ride of your truck.
He has a 6" lift, so those don't work. The 2.5's are required:
These RADFLO 2.5" RAISED TITAN COILOVERS WITH RESERVOIRS are the best on the market for use with lifted Titans. They offer adjustable ride height (spanner wrench included) and the highest quality Eibach or King springs. You may choose red or blue coils. These coilovers are manufactured especially for us using Greg's Titan-specific valving. The reservoir can be mounted on the fender support using the reservoir mounting kit (included) or the tabs can be welded to the frame or coilbucket for a different look.
And they are $1250, not $1200 as previously stated.
I did hear that a non-rezzy version of the 2.5's would soon be available though for a few hundred bucks less???

He said he has the STAGE 1 kit, which is only the 6" spacer, no coilover like you have.
Re: A little more front end lift with the Procomp 6" already installed??
You will have to get some kind of coil-over for the front. New from PRG, used in the classified's or do some e-bay searching for a set of cheap stage 2 ProComps that somebody upgraded???. You can then add a spacer on top of that to gain your inches....it's all about inches....
Don't add a spacer to a spacer it's dangerous. The highest you can go with the ProComp is about 8.5" total. The UCA's hit the buckets above that. Even my Total Chaos UCA's hit sometimes.

Not throwing you "under a truck" or anything but the UCA's do not add any height to a vehicle whatsoever.

Re: A little more front end lift with the Procomp 6" already installed??
Thanks guys I appreciate the help. Pretty much looks like I will have to get some coilovers. I was talking to Greg today about different options and the best way to go is with a coilover set up, even though there are a couple of other ways. He said that the Radflo's were the way to go. I believe the non-reservior ones are available now also.

I understand that, just thought it was somewhat misleading though, that's all. Didn't want him getting his hopes up thinking he could get coilovers for $700

I was under the impression that the TC UCA's add that extra inch due to it's construction and mount... or am I reading it incorrectly???
"Total Chaos upper control arms are made from 1.25" chromoly tubing and use a 1" uniball in place of the weak stock ball joint... ...from the stock shock or coilover upgrade. It will also add increased height to your current lift kit. For both 2 or 4 wheel drive. "

Seems misleading to me. I don't think there is any way that the new arm can add lift to the vehicle. It does provide for extra travel, because it doesn't hit the coil bucket like the stock arm does.
If you think about it, the frame mounting points are in a fixed location, the balljoint end of the arm must mount to the top of the spindle. the length of the spindle is fixed. The shape of the arm doesn't mean jack(it could be a curly Q), only the relationship between the frame mounting points and the top ball joint location is what is important. That relationship can only be changed a small amount, due to the constraints I stated previously (frame mounts, length of spindle). If the top arm is shorter/longer, it will change the camber. These arms aren't adjustable, so I assume that they are designed with "stock" camber? The castor could be different with these arms though, which will change high/low speed handling ability. Then you start getting into bump steer...
Basically what I'm trying to say is: There really is no way that the arm can provide any additional lift.
This is just my understanding of it, feel free to agree/disagree. Who knows, we all might learn something. I love these technical type discussions.
