I just bought an 07 4x4 C.C. XE, LOVE IT, I only have about 600 miles, and only had it about 3 weeks, I need some ideas, for some reason my truck seems a little bigger already, compared to all the other stock Titans I've seen so far, my friend has an 04 C.C. 4x4 and has a 6" lift, my truck is only about 2 - 3" lower than his, so I am kinda confused, I've heard about all kinds of lifts on here, and seen all kinds of pics, I was looking to maybe add about 3" more max, before I was gonna do 6" lift but I think that might be a little too big, I've been referred to PRG so I am probably going to go to them.....all in all, I pretty much dont know what to do with my truck, so I am looking for any ideas and or pics....Thanks all!!!!!

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand that...

Don't run out and buy a CAI, or loud-a$$ exaust...
Quit worrying about lift and think performance...think performance (dream like music playing in the background...)
Got it!
PRG's Performance suspension kit!! I think if you talk to all those that have made simular mods, they will tell you 2 things:
1. The inprovement over stock is huge
2. They wished they did it sooner..
You truck is already fast, and factory has a dang good sound and tone, but the suspension sucks!
Spend the ducketts on the suspension!(not lift kits)

As soon as I can I will post a pic of my truck, but I dont have any packages besides the preferred package which gave me the great 6 disc CD changer, and the overhead storage. Well, that was the only package listed on sticker. I dont think its the no fear package, and seeing that its already a little taller than most stock trucks and almost the same as my friends 6" lifted '04, I was thinking of possibly leveling the front and trying to make it like 3" taller than what it is????????? Anyone with any suggestions always welcome I take each one into consideration, I just want to have a bada** truck!!!!!
I just threw you the way to go....complete with dream like music...

I agree with loufish, but even just the shocks and DR coilovers from the PRG 4" Performance Package, (see the link in my sig), will make a big difference, (and the coilovers will level your truck too). I ran my Titan that way for quite awhile before completing the 4" Performance Package.
I agree with loufish and swarren1. Suspension is definitely your best choice as an improvement to your truck. Forget the bracket lift, especially since you only want 3". Consider the PRG 4" Performance Package. Adjust it for 3" and it's perfect (that's what Greg did for me). Ride is a million times better than stock on and off-road.
All my kidding aside, you will get more performance return for the money on suspension mods, and again I don't mean lift kits.
And I also agree not needing the whole kit right away, the frt/rear DR shocks will enhance your driving expeirence much more then any other mod...

After checking it out and looking at the pics on Swarren1's truck, I think I agree with you guys. It will definately give me the height I want and more importantly the ride. I think thats the way to go, thanks to you guys you helped alot. Now I need to figure out what kind of tires and rims!!!!! Any ideas...???
For a size reference, I'm running the same size as the stock Off Road tires, but in an aftermarket BFG AT KO light-truck D-Rated LT285/70/17 ... about 32.8" x 11.1" on the OEM 17 x 7.5" wide ~5.5" backspaced rim. [I believe your XE rims are also this size]. On a 8.5" rim they are spec'd at 11.5" wide.
If the size is o.k. and you don't plan too much rowdy off road stuff, the passenger rated Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos in a P285/70/17 are a great choice too, but not nearly as heavy duty, but at 15 pound less each, you will save big at the pump, compared to the BFG AT KO.
Next time I might get the LT305/65/17. They are basically just as tall at 32.7" diameter and spec'd at 12.2" wide on a 9" wide rim. They recommend 8.5 - 11" rims for this E -rated tire. But since quite of few people have run the BFG AT KO in the LT315/70/17 on the Off Road Pkg. rims, (which BFG recommend a 8.5 to 10" rim), the 305s might be o.k. On a 7.5" rim they would be about 11.6" wide at the side wall.
I plan to stay below 34" diameter because some have complained of shift point issues ... the torque converter not locking up correctly when towing. As far as mud tires ... the best sounding to me, are the Toyo and the BFG, but only the BFG LT285/70/17 at 33" diameter meets my current 34" maximum goal for those two brands. Procomp has Mud Terrain and Xtreme Mud Terrains that would also work ... they like many others are made by Cooper.
