Lowering a 4WD Titan??

Do any of the lowering kits offered by Stillen, PRG, McGaughy's or anyone else, work on a 4wd Titan with the Off Road Package? Has anyone done this to one??

Re: Lowering a 4WD Titan??

actually both the PRG and the MG kit will work on a 4x4. stillen does not offer one they sell the MG kit. the MG kit sits a bit lower than the PRG kit. the prg kit comes with radflo shocks, coils, and a rear leaf whereas the MG kit is only coils and leafs.

Yeah, I figured I'd hear about it from the dirt guys but, I like the look of a dropped truck a little more than the raised look.
Plus I'd like to get a little more handling and a smoother ride out of it.

Can you recommend a place to pick up the MG? Everywhere I look on line they dont list the Titan.

Thanks

I guess I'll check with PRG tomorrow.

Thanx for no frocks, flames ect. but I'm sure if I keep this up somethings bound to come my way...

Re: Lowering a 4WD Titan??

i saw a post around here where kyle mentioned that they are stocking the McGaughy 2/3 kit instead of developing their own. guess maybe not. you can always contact them and ask for the nearest dealer www.mcgaughys.com 559.226.8196

SoBe - I talked directly to the people at McGoughy's and they said " they dont make a kit for the 4wd and dont recommend trying to install on one".

Kyle said he had heard of a couple who had tried but didnt offer anything else up. Whatever happened to the days when you could just heat up the springs and drop it a little at a time???

I guess that leads to my next question, has anyone tried lowering a 4wd Titan?

Re: Lowering a 4WD Titan??

I have seen in Trukin' that Eibach had done a custom drop on a Titan. It is exactly what I want. Maybe they are getting one in the works.

Re: Lowering a 4WD Titan??

I'm pretty sure all the lowering kits out for the Titan come with a Jesus air freshener and leopard seat covers.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
