Sometimes. But my truck will surprise you. 2.5 Kings all around, super soft coils and full leaf pack, and a bunch of other accompanying mods. Even at 8000 lbs it'll blow by most street trucks in the whoops.

Hey now!

If anyone is interested, a group of us Dodge diesel guys will be at Glamis March 7-9. Come on out and you can watch a hand full of 8000 lbs trucks charge up Olds.

Re: Best front coilovers?

Is the SAW front coilover for bracket lifted Titans better than the Radflo w\ext res? It's getting time to upgrade my DR+spacer setup.

Re: Best front coilovers?

There are 3 options for bracket lifted:

SAW w/o Rez
Radflow w/o Rez
Radflow w/ Rez

As to what's better? ???? I just bought the SAW's but haven't put them on yet. My personal opinion is that the rezzy shocks aren't needed unless you are doing REPEATED, CONTINUAL, HARDCORE offroading.

Re: Best front coilovers?

Why are the 2" Radflo's so much less expensive than other coilovers? $700 compared to $1200 for the Fox or DR coilovers on the PRG website.

The Radflo 2" c/o's are a 2" body shock and are for non-bracket lifted trucks.

The Fox shox shown are a 2.5" body shock and are longer for the bracket lifted apps.

The Radflo 2.5 c/o's are a 2.5" body shock and are longer for the bracket lifted apps. (comes in a rezzy and non rezzy version)

Not shown on the site are the SAW c/o's for lifted trucks, which are a 2.5" body...yada yada

Not shown on the site are a SAW c/o for NON-bracket lift, but are still 2.5" bodies, compared to the 2" of the radflo.

The DR shocks shown on there are, IIRC, also a 2.5" body shock compared to the 2" of the Radflo.

My turn for a ?.... do the 2.5" and 2" bodied shocks have the same shaft size???

?

Re: Best front coilovers?

The 2.5" SAW's used up front have 7/8"s shafts, the 2" & 2.25" smooth body SAW's used in the rear are 5/8" shafts...

They do make 2" & 2.5" Res shocks with 7/8" shafts also

Can you use the SAW's for non-bracket lift w/o buying new UCA's? If so, about how much do they run?

Also....what does IRRC mean?

Wow, tough choices... I will say if you are of the low dough, the Radflo replacements are an excelent choice. If you want the all out best (And you will end up here anway), The SAW's with PRG UCA's are the way to go!

Re: Best front coilovers?

Well I'm confused now... I thought originally to go with the Radflo 2.0 with my 2WD.

I'm trying to get around 8" of lift.

...so 4" Spindle
but which C/O ???
