no real reason, just wanted to run a tow hitch and i just dont like the look of the cut up bedside and then the really low hitch. shes really more of a work truck than a prerunner for me.
good point, the low hitch does look like aass with no bumper... but DMZ did that one prerunner rear bumper with the hitch integrated into the bumper that was higher that looked pretty good. i dunno, decisions, decisions, decisions...

this is my favorite thread. the whole reason i traded in my Z71 for the titan was to go for a prerunner setup. the last pic is before i redid the spare tire holder and put CST spindles and rear SAW. new front bumper being started soon
LOUFISH - you gotta get those SAW for the rear, im really pleased with mine. they soaked up the bumps alot better than my old DRs
VERY NICE TRUCK
alot of custom one off items i have never seen before
8 million lights on the front haha

ya he modified petes hitch, basically cut it at the ends, turned upwards, and welded. he told me he will never do it again due to liability. aiiracing looks pretty good, i would probably do something like that if i really needed a new bumper, but whats the point? my nice grey bumper does everything theirs does.

I really like how you have your truck set up NOW. Ditched the disco wheels and the way to big and heavy mud grappler's, chrome less and the smaller non big tow mirrors. The stock front bumper doesn't look huge with the long travel kit.On did you reshape the front bumper ends to have a more flowing wheel opening?
If you really wanted to run a hitch and a prerunner bumper, you can get a QX56 hitch, from what I was told, it sits much higher than our Titan hitch's with the same mounting points.
Here is my stock Titan hitch and G-Machine built bumper, I think it came out very good considering what we had to work with.
kevdizzle-Do you ever worry about your wireing harness being exposed on the passanger side? How long has it been that way, I have had mine that way for the last month or so and I keep thinking its going to be a problem, but I'm guessing Nissan weather proof'ed the harness for dumb****s like me.
